Joining the Studio
A selective, structured onboarding process designed to ensure a mutual fit for long-term musical growth.
A Standard of Commitment
Private cello study requires time, focus, and dedicated partnership. To ensure every student thrives, enrollment is open to families who value consistent daily practice, regular lesson attendance, and active participation in studio events. We follow a four-step admissions process prior to formal placement.
The 4-Step Process

Complete the qualifying questionnaire below to share the student’s background, schedule availability, and family musical goals.

If current studio openings align with your application, we schedule a brief phone or video consultation to discuss pedagogical approach, expectations, and studio logistics.

Prospective students and at least one parent/guardian attend and observe one private lesson and one studio group class. This allows you to experience the studio environment firsthand and see our teaching methods in action.

Upon mutual agreement of fit and availability, families complete the Studio Registration Agreement, receive the Studio Handbook, and acquire foundational materials (Nurtured by Love and required instrument accessories).
Studio Commitments
Please review these core studio expectations before submitting an application.

Consistent daily practice (30–60 minutes depending on age/level) is required for ongoing studio standing.

A parent/guardian must attend every weekly lesson, take notes, and guide home practice, especially for students 12 & under.

Students commit to attending monthly group workshops, studio masterclasses, and biannual recitals.

Studio enrollment operates on a flat monthly tuition schedule. Missed lessons are subject to our formal Studio Policy (no ad-hoc refunds for casual cancellations).
